 Independent Brewing Company is proud to call Bel Air home. Bel Air (incorporated in 1874) serves as the county seat of Harford County and is affectionately known as the “Heart of Harford.”

Downtown Bel Air is a blend of historic charm and modern energy – cobbled sidewalks, tree‑lined streets, and a mix of independent shops, boutiques, galleries, and restaurants. The Bel Air Arts & Entertainment District adds cultural vibrancy – galleries, public art, theater, and frequent live events fill the calendar.

Outdoor and recreational amenities also define life here. The Ma & Pa Trail runs adjacent to downtown, inviting walkers, runners, and cyclists to explore scenic corridors through the area.
